The Ben-My-Chree is a conventional RO/PAX vessel built by
Van-der-Giesen de Noord in Holland in 1998/1999. The vessel was specially
designed for operation by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company to and from its
ports of Heysham and Douglas.
Hart Fenton were involved in initial design discussions with the
shipyards, tendering processes, selection of shipyard, plan approval,
supervision on-site. Also technical support services now that the vessel
is in operation.
