The Deepwater Installer is a DP2 Jack up vessel designed for Gaoh Offshore  to load, transport,  install and support up to 16 offshore wind turbines on each trip.

The vessel will be capable of year round operation with minimal port and weather downtime and optimised cost efficiencies for the development of Offshore Wind Farms in up to 50m water depths.   

Its key benefit is operation in far offshore sites with a circa 99% operating window. This includes a Storm Force 8 Jacking and DP Station Keeping in up to 4.0 kts of current and 15 m/s windspeeds. Combined with 1,600t SWL lifting capacity for loading and turbine installation, the ship provides a safe, efficient and risk optimised installation and wind farm support solution for Mid-North Sea site developers in particular.
